A PAINTER OF OWN LIFE
<< "Lifestyle" series
Some people know exactly what gives their life meaning. This series is about an artist who, despite being a "genius" violinist, chose to become a painter. He knew with certainty that without the ability to draw, he would die.
In this project, I found it fascinating to observe his creative process. It begins with simple, instinctive lines drawn without even looking at the paper. From there, the artist searches for music in the lines, meditating on them, doubting, and developing balance and detail.
He works as a janitor in the mornings, which gives him the freedom to create for the rest of the day. For him, creativity is a path filled with both joy and sadness, marked by a deep sense of spiritual solitude.
