Molokans are spiritual Christians who have chosen a different path of faith than Russian Orthodoxy. More than 200 years ago the Molokans left Russia for Armenia and other places where they were allowed to live. Only two small villages remained in Armenia where Molokans live compactly. They speak Russian but consider themselves people other than Russians. They managed to preserve their values and traditions in work, family, and spiritual life. While working on this series, I realized that the Molokans are internally very free, whole, and independent people. This is the secret of their inner beauty. In addition to this, the beauty of nature around makes this place stand out and makes it special.
